Re: Starter/Solenoid One click

Okay, I have gone back and read all of your posts. With the engine sometimes starting and then just stopping a few minutes later and then not turning over, I would of said the sol was bad, but you replaced that. You have had all the connections off, cleaned and back on, so in my mind the only thing ...

Re: Starter/Solenoid One click

When it lost power, did it still seem to run smoothly and die or did it run rough and die. After it died did it still turn over using when you turned the key.

Re: Repairing Speedometer

Have you looked inside the case the speedometer is in. It looks like something from the first mission to the moon, 3 layers of circuits, diods, transitors, and all kinds of top secrete stuff. If it is not the paddle wheel or power to the system, good luck. :) Keep us posted.

Re: Repairing Speedometer

Don't waste your time and money, buy a GPS Speedometer from Defender, www.defender.com. Will give you your actual speed across the water, has built in GPS antenna for 89.99. I put one in my boat and it works great!!

Re: Vacuflush Pump Help

I agree with P-Dogg. The Vaccuflush never smells and uses very little water to flush. It also uses fresh water which keeps the smell in the holding tank down. They are simple systems and once you replace the bad parts you will have a great system. If you have any mechanical aptitude at all they are ...

Re: Vacu flush

Yes, I have a 10 Meter, the vent hose comes out the top of the holding tank, it is probably part of the tank level sender. It is a hose the size of a garden hose, maybe a bit larger and on my boat vents our the starboard side down above the water line with some other thru hulls. If your tank has bee...

Re: Starter/Solenoid One click

You do not need to turn it in the correct direction, you are just trying to determine if the engine is seized up or not. If it will turn in either direction check for a bad starter.

Re: Vacuflush Pump Help

If you have the pump housing (that is the expensive part), the pump motor, bellows and duckbill valves are relativly inexpensive to buy. Try seacoastservices.com, they have all the parts and are experts on the vaccuflush. George is the man, 516-809-7837. I have messed with everypart of my vaccuflush...

Re: Any Boat Presents This Year?

Dog House,
Harbor Frieght has a nice Hydraulic Crimper for not much money. It is handy to have on board. I always seem to need to replace ends on the battery cables, ground cables.

Re: Vacuflush Pump Help

No it does not. What does not work on your Vaccu Flush, No water, No Vacuum, Pump not running, pump running all the time. There are multiple things that can cause the unit not to flush properly. Need more information. We can surely help but need to know the symptoms.

Re: Fresh water leak

Well, if the pump does not cycle then I do not understand why the leak would stop whith the pump off. If your boat is anything like the 10 meter international, your water tank is built into the hull. If you have an acess panel in the middle of the cabin, the bottom of that area is the top of your fr...
