Looked at a house in Seaford today. Waterfront. Was amazing. Putting a bid in tomorrow. The bulkhead doesnt have a floating dock. Can you add cleats directly to the deck and tie off right to the bulkhead? Or do i need to install a small dock. Would love to hear feedback and opinions.

Ok was stuck with work for a few days and looking for a new house. Well all of the through hull fittings are installed and siliconed back in place. Looks awesome. Are you putting a trim around the hatch? I also brought my wood floor all the way to the transom. And then sanded cone shape channel right into the scuppers. Need a day to be about 60 to glass. Its been cold again.

I will be moving out to Long Island NY. Looks like Ocenside. Anyone around that area? Going to need to learn all new fishing spots. not too happy about that. Lol

Can someone walk me through replacing the impeller on a merc 233. Ford block.

Id like to replace them before dropping in in3 weeks.

Installed all of the through hull fittings. All 4 installed and siliconed in place. Next phase is ordering the trim for the hatch at 200$..... yikes.... next step is i need to figure out how to do the impellers on the merc 233.. and then ill be glassing friday and saturday.

Using crushed walnut shells mixed in with 1st coat of gel coat.

Then im going to use these with rubber gasket around the whole trim to make it water tight when the cam compresses.

You did the framing out of the plywood as well? Thats interesting. I didnt think of doing it like that. That will rexuce my wait time. As far as a trim what did you decide on? Im thinking this.

Finished all of the filler work. Tomorrow i will sand and start fiberglassing the deck.
