Re: Inverter Question
I am sure the boat is nice. From my POV a reliability question needs to be asked. Let's a Assume th t the owner dd everything perfect And all materials are marinized Fast forward a few years Who repairs any problems thAt develop? That is why I would walk away. Tough to do once you fall in love with...

Re: Inverter Question
The other side: Many negative comments made when we have no details of the specific installation... it could in fact negate any concerns. If the owner's description of his skill and experience are correct then it could safely do what he states. Having read the owner's email it is certainly possible ...

Re: Shore power primer
Your symptom suggests bad batteries to me.... when last have you had them load tested? Take them to your nearest auto battery shop (or Batteries Unlimited) and have them charged and load tested. What is the date of manufacture on them. What size, CCA? If they are bad they likely will only start the ...

Re: Inverter Question
Short answer is yes as it equates to approx: 100 Amp service..... What is key though is the rating of the batteries to say how long you can draw 120V at what amps and then how do you charge them back up.... no genny means shore power. Size of charger gives an idea of how long to get them fully charg...

Subscribing to this topic. Mine aren't cracked, but they have frosted spots on the corners. I have had thoughts on just calling a glazier since it's all flat glass. Frosted spots... have you tried using any of the automotive headlight scratch removal products? My Starboard pane is cracked and I wil...

Re: 86ing the gutter
I wouldn't remove it. It can be used to direct water to the back of the bridge, I have oval holes in it on the aft corners which work well except in a thunderstorm.. Also when it is not there water will run around the edge and underneath towards the side windows and might even drip inside the salon ...

No one overboard... did it so I could have the extra seating while at anchor. Georgian Bay boating so tend to be in calm anchorages.DoorCountyScott wrote:Interesting and it looks great! How does it work? Lose anybody overboard yet??
P.S. Glen Masters on the Facebook Trojan Boat Owners Club is selling some for $100.

Most generators recommend that you do not charge their battery with a remote charger. They charge their battery when running and any good battery will last between generator starts.

Re: Why the &*!@ own 2 boats?
As a Canadian I need to own 2 boats..... One up North for the Summer and the other in Florida for the winters. Makes sense to me and works well, other than the recent weak Canadian $ to pay the US storage bills!
