My 1988 12m International Sportfisherman is cored.

That would explain why my setup is different. Diesels. Wish I could be of more help.

Are you gas or diesel?

We have a 1988 12m Sport Fisherman, so I am thinking many things will apply to yours.

I bought a generic aluminum screen door from Home Depot and cut it down. Took about 20 minutes and $80 and it is perfect.

Our February in SW Florida has been rough as well. Stayed on the boat last weekend and had to run the A/C the whole time.

If we don't tow ours, one of us just drives ours behind in the lee of the big boat.

I have all Garmin, but since it's really an integrated system, it was sort of my only choice once I went with that manufacturer. Do you have any other chartplotters or electronics on there now?

I agree with P-Dogg. The Vaccuflush never smells and uses very little water to flush. It also uses fresh water which keeps the smell in the holding tank down.
