Re: TROJAN 50' SWAP

I would assume it has to be that 14 Meter boat. It's the only one close enough to make sense from the description. Lets see if Buyer gets back to the Forum.

Re: Trojan f32

Kallen has just offered some very good advice in my opinion.

Pay more if necessary for decks that have NOT delaminated.

Best of luck with whatever decision you make.

Re: 84' Trojan F32, in too deep?

Great pictorial report of your work! Coming along really nicely. I was wondering if you'd found any delamination in your deck surface? Some of my friends have had that happen and have successfully performed their own repairs. Hopefully that problem is not present with your Trojan. You could also pas...

Re: 84' Trojan F32, in too deep?

Personally, I am surprised that you have found the original Trojan construction to be shoddy. I have not seen or heard that before. My two Trojans and those of my friends were well framed and the finish work very well done. Good luck with the rest of your renovation. Photos would be nice to see. Che...

Re: Monomatic toilet

I experienced these toilets for the first time in 1978 when I purchased a 1955 Shepherd cruiser. Although I kept the boat for nine years and during that time did not change the toilet........ I would have done so in a heartbeat if I had known where to get a suitable replacement and if I wasn't const...

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location

Doug, I'm way behind on your situation and those major issues you had previously with the rebuild of those diesels et al. So, how are things with the boat and what have you been up to? Good of you to help out Lumpy with his problem.

Cheers,

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location

My advice would be to begin at the freshwater tank and start tracing the water line from there. It just seems to me you would locate the pump or evidence of where it had been previously located (if it has indeed gone missing). Like already mentioned here, these pumps like to "push" water r...

Re: 13 Meter Fresh water Pump location

This is probably useless info in your case, but my fresh water pump is under the floor (remove small hatch) in my cabin beneath one of the sections of the aft U shaped settee.............. close to my fresh water tank............ (like RWS mentioned) I considered buying a 13M eight years ago that wa...

Re: '94 Trojan 370 Express and my boating storyline

I was actually referring to the number of times someone has come to the forum looking for some information or an opinion and we've taken the time to type out a detailed reply, sometimes lengthy (we've all done it, (especially Prowler)) and then the person simply disappears. Hard to believe I've been...

Re: 1995 Trojan 390 Express

Todd, I don't think this guy ever ended up getting past the initial visit. In fact I have now answered a series of questions about this model (because I own one) and not one of the people have ever responded to let us know what happened or what they did.

Beacon Marine High Quality Service

Bob mentioned in a phone conversation that he would keep me on his list for replacement "push button" switches for the helm of my Trojan 1994 370 Express. They were covid back-ordered to Germany and he'd been waiting for them. The moment they arrived he texted me and I placed my order onli...

Re: Hello - F36 Tri-Cabin owners in specific

So Mr Floating Tiki Room........ :D Pretty sure that's not your first name. My name's Rick and I'm wondering how your visit went regarding the Tri-Fly. We had a tri-cabin for 16 years and loved it. Sold it six years ago and bought what will probably be our final boat. Like many here, I've been up an...

Re: Kohler Generator

David, My boat has the Bluewater engines too. They were a $9,000 add-on option at the time of purchase. Lucky for us the original owners apparently had money to burn. Regardless, lots of room in the engine compartment for the Westerbeke - the rudder cross bar plus those Bluewaters. By the way, did y...

Re: Kohler Generator

Hi David, The original owner of my 1994 370 express opted for the 6.5 kw Westerbeke generator. It works well for me. I mention this just to let you know that you don't necessarily need to use a Kohler. There are new and used Westerbeke units available and I would assume there are also rebuilt Kohler...
