Re: 1979 Trojan F30 Project Boat
Welcome to the forum!! First off, the only thing that makes one of these boats unfixable is your budget!! There is much great advice, and many here have more experience with this than me, but I would offer this advice: Get a knowledgable surveyor to perform a pre=buy survey. stringers and deck...

Glad it went well and you're in!!
Now if it would just quit raining up here, your flood conditions would go away.

Re: question about my new trojan
I have an F26 flybridge with the 351 engine (MC233) it is a 1977 and 1:1 tranny. I am swinging a cupped 14x9 and I am topping out @ 22 knots @ 4000rpm. I run about 16 knots at 3200 My bottom is cleam and paint is pretty smooth. These models are tail heavy, so tabs are critical, along with engine per...

Re: Launch Day
I had vibration in my F26 last year at 3500 rpm and up. when I puled for the year, cutlass bearing in strut was pretty worn, that is now replaced and I expect vibration to go away.
It looked fine to me, but my mechanic new right away. +1 for the strut bearing

Re: Ignition switch
I have always assumed that my setup was original stock. It is the toggle switch that is circled.
My line of thought is this is just as secure as a Key setup, all the key switch does is force a theif to take out four screws and twist a couple of wires together.

Check with Bob at Beacon, however I believe it is just an off / on / momentary 3 position toggle switch. I have the same in my F26

F-26 American Bosch Wiper motor
Trying to find out what model of American Bosch wiper motor was standard on a 77 F-26 flybridge. My case is unreadable other than I can tell what brand it is, but cannot determine model.
Any F-26 owner know? Thought I would try here before I email Bob.
Thanks!

Re: Frost Laws For Hauling Boat
Weight restrictions are the norm here, though usually each county or city sets its own dates. Your hauler either has a very large rig, or roads are really restrictive
