Helping a friend upgrade his 1979 F32. Twin Chrysler M360's. He is replacing the carbs on both engines and wants to do some basic performance upgrades to enhance the stock performance without compromising the ruggedness / reliability of the engines.
Currently running the stock OEM AFB''s and OEM Electronic Ignition.
Suggestions?

Edelbrock marine carbs have good rep. I have no issue with Holley but many don't like them Being marine you are limited in choices

Re: Choosing new Carb for Chrysler M360
I put the Edelbrock 1409 on twin 305's I had. Decent carb that was fairly easy to service. I've heard the Holley's are much more complicated, but do a really good job when tweaked in right.
You are right though, very few choices.

I too, replaced my Quadrajets with the 1409s a few years back. Should have done it years ago...
