Anyone knows if the sides and or bottom of a 1983 9 meter int'l is cored with balsa or any other wood?

I can't tell you, but if you get no answer give Bob at beacon a call . Fwiw the 10 meter is not I bet the same on the 9 .

No, only the 11m on up are cored. All glass from the rub rail down.
