Looking for One Specific Trojan Boat

Post by Bruce1 »

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for this one specific Trojan boat. It was owned by my friend's father several years ago. I believe he sold in in 1990.

Here is a picture of the boat. Can anyone identify the model, year and any special features?

Any advice on how I might go about searching for this boat?

Thank you!

Bruce

Its a Trojan F40 . I know the made them 78-80 and Maybe other years , Just going by the ones I know of . You may have luck using the registration numbers on the bow . They stay with the boat if the boat stays in the same state .

The registration number on the bow is:

WN 989 BT

How would I search for the boat by this number?

Here's another picture of the boat

You might try starting a thread on thehulltruth.com
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

You can start with Washington State. They may be able to provide whatever public information is available related to those numbers. The name on the second photo does not show up on the Coast Guard documented vessel search, otherwise it would be a slam dunk.
