1996 36' Trojan

We have a 1996 36' Trojan with 454 carsad engine, with a v drive. Does anyone know what the rotation is on the portside.

Without looking at the boat I could only guess . You can look at the engine and check to or you can contact Carver as they built the boats with the Trojan name after 1992 . Sorry I was not much help .

They should all be standard rotation by 1996 but as usual you never know what a previous owner might have done so its always best to physically confirm first. Is there something wrong with the port engine?

I tried to download a picture of how to tell engine rotation, but failed. If you look at the belts and pulleys and they turn CLOCKWISE, you have a LEFT HAND ROTATION, then of course if the belts and pulleys turn COUNTER CLOCKWISE, you will have a RIGHT HAND ROTATION. Most, if not all Crusader engines with V-drives after 1994 were left hand rotation.

I own a 1994 370 Express. I've been trying to figure out what you've got there.
I didn't realize they made one 36 feet long in 1996. I will check my manuals when I get home to double check the rotation info.
