12 Meter Rudder stuffing box flax size

Would anyone know the correct flax size for the 12 Meter Express rudder box?

Do you know the rudder shaft size ? If you do I have a chart on this forum for prop shafts its also works for rudder shafts .

on the 10 meter the "box" is above the water line.

plastic bushings - no stuffing box or seals needed.

Have no idea on the 12 meter

Well your chart is spot on 1-3/4 rudder shaft and the flax to fit was 1/2 inch. Penetrating oil and some leverage and the lock nut can move free now. Wire brushed it and I noticed some pitting. I’m not concerned, but should I be, it’s bonded to everything so how else could it be pitting? The port side shaft is cleaner due to better access and no evidence of putting.
