Winterizing F36 Engines

Post by darryn »

Hello all, this will be my first season winter storing out of the water. The boat yard will not winterizing by owners. If i did everything except engine before i go, could i just drain my manifolds and mufflers? My block is freshwater cooled and has strong anti-freeze.
Thanks

...and the oil coolers (engine & transmission) both of which will hold water, freeze and cause problems next summer. I pull the outlet hose off the seawater pump, attach a three foot extension hose with a funnel and pour pink antifreeze until it comes out the stern.
