1981 F32 water tank problem

Post by fpawn »

As I try to fill the fresh water tank there seems to be a blockage at the top of tank. I took hose off to first check and that was fine. After I secured on hose and put floor back, still same problem.. Is there some kink of back flow valve at top of tank?? Any ideas??

You could try putting a vacuum hose to the outside of the vent and see if you can clear it out or put a water hose to the vent. With the vacuum you won't be pushing any dirt or what ever into the tank.

The water tank vent termination on our 78 was inside the boat attached to a support just behind the removable coaming panel Stbd side......only vents in the hull were gas tanks and holding tank.I can't imagine why you don't want to lift that back deck again.... :P

Ahhh, so the deck is voice activated!
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!
