Bulkhead replacement

Post by Merchdoor »

F30 - I am replacing my bulkhead between the cabin and engine room. While removing the rotted wood I noticed that the rear deck is supported only in the middle by the two main stringers. Since there was so much bad work done on this boat I am questioning if this support is correct. I have two main stringers running down the center spaced approx. 2’ apart and two others spaced approx. 2’ over from the centers.
