1977 F26 window arms

Post by piercerl5874 »

Does anyone know where to purchase the window arms for both the driving station and passenger side. Not sure how but all 4 of ours are broke.

I'm thinking about doing something like this (down the line) to my F26 windows.

Automated windows would be amazing. Any interest in being the guinea pig?

I plan something like this, so as to keep my greasy sunscreen palm prints off the glass. Later...... My neighbor has a Sea Ray with such a system, but as you will want to do, it is mounted along the bottom edge of the window. Done thusly, the load is simply supported, not cantilevered. I imagine the strain on the mounts of the windows shown in the video are rather severe if the windows are open and you're in a sea of any sort.
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!
