Pulled the shrink wrap off to find something had pushed 2 stansions inward creating a gap where they meet the base. Now they are fairly loose. From what I recall getting to these from underneath is not easy. Any ideas on how to secure them back down? I have an 11 meter international

Go see your shrinkwrap guy....My best guess here, that is what pulled the posts in, there should have been a 2x4 spreader across the front deck between the railings to keep them from moving.

Is there any further damage past just loose.

Thank you. The marina hired the shrink wrap folks and I hadn't noticed anything else wrong or damaged. I am in communication with the marina about the repair but not hopeful that anyone will claim fault. Just concerned about getting to them to tighten them back down

I also have the 11 meter. Depending upon what ones are loose, they can be a bugger to get at. I resealed mine last summer. Takes two people, one to spin the nylock nuts undermeath and one to hold the phillips head on top. I had to remove my interior coverings above the bunks, reach back behind head cupboards and remove headboards in VBerth. They are SS fine thread bolts through. Finally got it down to where the Top helper used battery drill with large phillips bit ( buy a handfull of bits as they do not float). And internal person just needs to hold the deep well socket. But all are accessable with minimal explatives being used.

Good luck, hope no hull damage as these bolts are heavy duty.

Note: top person has it the easiest, so send your kid to hold the socket if possible, or you may owe a friend a few beers or at least a fishing trip.
