Has any one ever replaced the original salon AC unit in a 10.8 convertible? If so what did you put in? I there one that could fit in the originals place?

If you have Cruseair now , replacing with the same would be the easiest . Are your AC units self contained or do the have remote air handlers ? Photos of what you have now ?

It has a remote air handler. I think I just need the compressor and electronics. I will get pictures when I get to the boat. Thanks for the help and feed back

I replaced my aging, inefficient 1983 Cruiseair with a new Cruisair in 2006

It too has a separate air handler

Couldn't be happier :)
