Crusiar air conditioning

Post by Rxcape »

I have a 44' FBMY and I'm having trouble with one of the air conditioners. The system will run without any problem in the run position but when I switch to start the fan will sound labored and the breaker will trip after 10-15 seconds. Any suggestions on where to begin? I have looked at all wiring and nothing stands out as obvious. No burnt or charred(overheated) terminals.

Thanks everyone for any suggestions...... Jim

Could be one of the capacitors or the compressor it self . Lack of water flow would do the same but it would normally take a little longer to trip the breaker

Thanks, I thought of the compressor but not the capacitors. I don't think water flow is the issue as I am getting the same steady stream overboard as always...

Thanks again......Jim
