lower controls for 10.8 meter sedan

Post by SlowPoke »

I've seen a few boats, other than Trojan, which had a set of controls in the cockpit. Is there a factory looking option available aftermarket?

Can I assume it would make docking considerably easier than from the flybridge?

Thanks!

You could add controls . I always felt the fly bridge was the easiest place to dock a boat from as you can see 360 . I don't believe Trojan offered Cockpit controls on the 10.8

Even if i had lower controls on my 12 meter, I can't imagine using them to dock. The advantage of lower controls, in my opinion, is transiting in open water during inclement weather.

Totally agree with the above posts. I tried once to park mine backwards from the lower station. The sight lines are terrible compared to the flybridge. All of my piloting is done from the flybridge.
