F36/Tri cabin exhaust question.

Well, the winter doldrums are really kicking in. So what else to think about, but boats! I was always curious why the F36( and F32 for that matter) did not utilize the underwater exhaust of the Tri cabin? Although a little scary to have 2 large holes in the bottom of the boat, the noise reduction, and reduction of the station wagon effect seem like a nice trade off. Plus no critters to enter the exhaust in the winter! I was also wondering why the underwater exhaust did not cause appreciable cavitation. Or use side dumpers like the Internationals.

I assume its because Trojan did not want to run the exhaust thru the aft cabin , they did the same on the F40 . Maybe Bob knows or can find out for sure .

Port exhaust would have gone straight thru my bath tub.....

The Tri Cabin had a problem with station wagon effect. The CO would come up the transom and into the boat.
The answer was underwater exhaust.
The underwater exhaust of the Tri Cabin amazing engineering.

I always thought so as well. That's why I wondered why it didn't cross over to the other F boats.
