Holding tank sensor

Post by reelfishin »

Our wires broke on the holding tank sensor. I was thinking of pulling the senor and attaching new wires Just wondering if anyone has done that.

I ran new wires to a new monitor panel I put in the hallway. Also replaced the sensor with a 3 level unit, as they get flaky after a few years.

Thanks, may have to look into that way of fixing it. I will get the specs to see if another unit will fit where this one is. Again thanks.

I installed an Ultra Sonic sensor on mine, came with a remote gauge. I installed the power side to the rocker switch that lights up the stairs leading to the forward cabin. Nothing touching the junk in the tank so it always works!
