I'm looking for the bed bracket / bar for the bed in the cabin. Anybody know where I can get it?? As in the picture the previous owner made it in to a couch I want the bed back. Any help would be great. Thanks.

If BEACON does not have the plywood base for the top bunk, you can order the two side slide bars, the receivers and the hinges from Beacon

Perhaps John Leed can snap a photo of the engineering drawings for the plywood base and you're all set.

This base is all curved - theres few straight lines in or on this boat

In addition to being a convertible bunk, this also has great utility value when folded down into the sofa position, plus you can store one of the collapsible table cushions behind it when it's down :)

Do any of you guys have a pictures of this boat with the bed in it? Or can get some pictures of the hinges that are used to secure it to the wall pockets? I did talk with beacon today. He's looking to see what he might have.

heres some photos of how it looks on my 10 meter

from the factory both dinette filler cushions would easily store behind the hinged drop bunk/sofa back

when we redid my cabin interior we made the cushions a bit thicker, now one stores fine, with 2 it sticks out a bit

factory slidebolts and receivers on both sides allow for an anchoring point

keep in mind, nothing, NOTHING is a straight line.....

Here goes the photos:

I don't understand why anyone would remove the top bunk

theres really nothing to be gained

you get a hard "shelf" instead of the soft top cushion...
