Does anyone have any tips for removing the Crusader 350 engine impellers?

Thanks

I don't have experience with crusader, but on my Chrysler 318 - removing the impeller with the pump mounted on the motor, in the boat, is a hopeless proposition. I removed the raw water pump from the engine. Only then can I open the housing to remove the impeller. This is the first season that I pulled the pump with the engine in the boat. (This is only my second season with this boat. It was easly last year, because I had pulled the engine from the boat to rebuild it.) After seeing what a chore removing the pump was with the engine in the boat, I'm wondering how many people pull the impeller every season? I hope its not too difficult to re-mount the pump with the engine in the boat. I think it will be a tough squeeze, but not impossible.
