Post by fountain27 »

I am looking for the best cruise speed for a 1990 10 meter international w/ twin 454 crusaders and the gph required to generate that speed. I sincerely appreciate any replies.

This depends on your engine/transmission/prop configuration.

Mid cabin nmodels had the engines farther aft with smaller props spinning at af aster rate of speed than the earlier models with the 454 and the velvet drive 1.91:1 transmissions

I can help you with the non mid cabin info, and can also provide info on how to improve your effeciency.

Feel free to direct e-mail me for more data.

I actually logged in to get the same information. I am looking for the GPH at cruise (18mph I'm told) for an 87 10 Meter Express. She has 454 Crusaders.

Thanks for you help.

Regards,
Dave
