window seal's

Post by ronski »

I have a 1990 trojan 11 meter express . The black window seal's are coming aloose in the corners. How do you repair this? I'm also getting very loong hairline cracks on the hull of the boat near the bow. Is this common? How do you repair?

those are more than likely stress cracks. to repair those you have to sand them out and then re-gel coat that area and hand sand that and buff. good as new. i would suggest having a professional do it. it never comes out good when you do it yourself! if you live in or near VA i can suggest a good place! they can also repair the window seals.

Ronski,
You had better check the stringers and hull-to-deck joint too...sounds like stuff is moving around a bit up there.

Megan,
There's just something about a woman who knows boats...sexy!
