Bleeding Steering on F32

Post by ScurvyDog »

I have the original Syten steering system from Teleflex on my 1978 F32. It is very stiff and needs to be blead of air in the system I'm sure. The problem is I can't seem to locate any bleeder screws on the ram or any other fittings on the system. Any suggestions of where to look???

Just crack the fittings loose one at a time on the ram and turn the wheel when the fluid comes out clear tighten the fittings. the one that the fluid comes out must be tightened before you reverse the wheel. Might take a couple of times. Make sure the resivoir doesn't go dry or you will have to start over.
