You said "you missed her already" I took that to mean it sold....Hope you find a way to keep it if that is what you want

Jwrape,

That's beautiful.
Love the countertops and the layout......

You've obviously put a lot of work (read: money) into her (I mean the boat  ).

Find a way....there's always a way.....

jw, i'll preface this by saying that i'm 100% serious here, so take it for what it's worth.

why don't you consider moving your boat to chickamauga lake on the tennessee? the initial move would suck, but once here, i think you'll find the slip fees here are MUCH more realistic...and it's only about 90 minutes up the road. several people on my dock at erwin/chickamauga marina live in marrietta and atlanta and make the drive each weekend for various reasons. why not you?

would be a lot cheaper and probably much nicer.

just a thought.

I can't afford a move. It would cost thousands.

Congratulations! You know what they say, 2 best days of a boat owner, .... As a yacht broker in Ontario, I have kept my eye on your boat for a while now. I am not suprised. Some older boats are selling recently. 5 that I know of plus yours. If you would, I would love you to PM the selling price for my records. :?: jimbo36.

Paul, Interestingly, our pre-owned Re-sale market has been quite strong here over the past 18 months, outselling new boats for the first time in a long time. This is partly due to the lack of new product available as manufacturers and part suppliers stopped production. As a Municipal Marina operater, Yacht Broker and member of the Ontario Marina Operators Association I see and hear what is happening. At our OMOA Conferance this past December one of our keynote speakers was Duane Kuck, President of Regal Boats in Florida, a long term family boat building Company that is one of the few builders still in production. His overview of the Marine industry in your Country is critically differant than here in Canada. Much like the Real Estate Market which is very active here. In my harbour over the past winter I have been advised of 12 seasonal boaters who have bought new (to them) used boats. Of course, all have gone up in size. A few have gone south to buy and this activity will increase as the Canadian dollar strenghtens, which they predict it is probably going to do. This buying south of the boarder will be further fueled by a new tax that comes into effect July 1st. that has alwas been applicable on cross boarder boat purchases but it means buyers will pay an additional 5% tax on domestic owner/brokered purchases. That said, you may want look into listing your boat with a Canadian Yacht broker in the near furture. jimbo36
