We agree to disagree.

Please keep us posted on you progress and results.

Also, if you do a search on this site you will find some performance graphs I did when I had the 454's in my 10 meter, prior to the diesel refit.

A comparison would be fascinating.

Best of luck with this project.

Interesting thread ... if you got money ... spend it!

"Fastest One Here" though? Now thats an interesting one ...

My 18 does does 67 (not a PWC either) ... previously had the same engine on a 20' pickle fork that ran 114 ...

My 26 does 54, and my Trojan F32 does 30.

next?

I really don't know anything about Hi Pro motors but will you have to change the shaft size or strut to handle the added HP and torque?

If your doing it right most likely go up on shaft size and strut to match shaft there are calculators to check for needed shaft strength and size. .

my screen name has to do with Drag Racing...but i have been 7.70et @ 182mph but thats not impressive to you im sure... even if it was done with a 4 cyl. 2.0L 112 cubic inch more than 300HP per cyl. no nitrous. so what i am doing is by far not pushing the bar. but something that takes my mind off drag racing. it just to much fun zipping around the lake with the family

Yes I will do the oil burners on the next boat. As we get to this time in our travels the pay back is there. And the next boat will be bigger and the rule of anything over 36' should be a heating oil burner  But that doesn't mean a Trojan another Carver say a 4207 or a 44 are on top of my list.
