What good is a BATH tub when most hot water heaters aren't large enough to support one? Thats how I got out of a bathtub model for my wife. Told her all she would have is COLD baths! :lol: :lol: :lol: :wink:

========================================

We ran a line for hot water from the wetbar to the lazarette.

Run hot water to the lazarette with bubble bath and circulate it with the livewell pump.

If you can believe this it's a great redneck hot tub.

If you can't, well you would be right.

These Internationals DO HAVE some nice features though.

Agree... I smiled to myself about the logic of applying dragster theory with engine rebuids after 7 second runs and applying that knowledge to marine use where engine high load is ongoing for hours :lol:

And to fill the tub you need a 10 gallon water heater set @ 180 f it doesn't take all the hot water that way, and use engine system to heat it. the puppy's love it. :wink: And one of my 1st boats was a tub it was a 21' Manatee with a 250 Johnson what a pos but it was good for catfishing.

Not sure where this topic is at this point, but if you want to build a 496, why wouldn't you look at the specs that were created by a marine engine company, ie: crusader or mercruiser, on their 8.1 liters? The 385 hp, 8.1L has some decent reviews for the medium sized boats.

Of course, I'm not sure how this applies to drag racing or bathtubs...

the 8.1's back fitted in boats from what I've seen have some troubles with adding all the controls and sensors and d##@ computers for them. Now without all that and one could use carbs and electronic spark boxes like a thunderbolt 4 system then I could agree, But what will the hull and rudders do at the higher speeds ? Will the platform handle it ? Can it take the stress ? :?

Ready - I thought the same thing ... 7 seconds x 10 runs = 70 seconds between rebuilds ... wouldn't get you out of the marina. ;-)

Fastest - we're all busting your chops because you've logged onto the wrong board - might try TheHullTruth.com or ScreamAndFly.com for race boats ...

The fastest Trojan ever probably runs 35-40 knots ...

Naw Ross won't fit in over a tht due to the engines don't hang off the a$$ of the boat and steer from the center.
