I wonder if when you fire that engine up cold, with the oil fill cap off, do you see any steam coming out?

OK - just going by what you titled this thread, "OIL I N WATER".

And you wouldn't see an oil slick if you got oil in your closed system.

O.K. Good news. Kind of. I replaced the manifolds, risers, and U-coolers. Did threee oil changes, took her out on sea trials, did one more oil change, and everythings looks great. Lots of cash, but did it myself so no labaor. No broken bolts, hands, feet, or backs. Don't know what the cause, but will pressure test U-coolers when I get time.

Yep, bunch of cash. Had to take the wifes Christmas present back. (bow thruster) But we are ready for the summer as long as no oil spills or storms.

Naw , I got a lra hd 2400 and she got a 2011 optima black loaded with nav/tech package the works. Some how I feel she got the better deal.
