Radar Arch

Post by splashngo »

I have a 1977 F 36 Convertable and would like to install a radar arch on the flying bridge so that I can put my radar scanner on it. Does anyone know where I can get one at a reasonable price or have a used one in good shape? I'm located in Minnesota and am willing to pick up. I was at the boat show last weekend and a guy there just sold one off another boat. Any help would be vary much appreciated. Thanks.

Find a good fiberglass guy who can take one from another boat and modify it. They can be easily stretched or made shorter horizontally or vertically by a good fiberglass company, however don't expect this to come cheap.

An alternative would be to have an aluminum arch fabricated by companies who make custom boat Tee Tops and other custom welding.

Good luck,

I found mine on Ebay. I never took my bimini down so was happy the arch came with the top attached. I paid $500.

I've been looking on Ebay and was talking to a guy in Michigan that had one on ebay for $499, but after I talked to him it suddenly was relisted for $999. I guess I won't be dealing with him!!! LOL
