First attemp at running the new portside engine.

Post by antlr-king »

The old engines were running ( not very well) when replaced with the new long blocks. The fuel pumps were working properly. This fuel pump I cleaned it up and it sat on my shelf in the garage for about a month and a half before I installed it onto the new engine. When I attemped the start up the fuel pump wasnt working. It wasnt pulling fuel from the main tank. So I disconnected it from the main tank and put a 2 foot hose onto the fuel pump and stuck that into a gas can. It didnt pull from there either. Fuel pump is now bad for some reason. Oh well guess I'll have to buy a new one.
