Shower Renovations

Well its finally time fo me to start some of those projects that i have been planing for before i redeploy next month
i finally got tired of looking at that mangled shower of mine so after a short trip to lowes and picking up all the material i started tearing into it
I purchased new plywood as before i even started i knew that there will be rot since the floor tile was obviously leaking....as you can see in the pictures my thoughts were proven true and i need to replace a good chunk of the side wood and then the whole floor.
The PO decided it would be a good idea to put Formica wall coverings in the shower that started bubbling and thus needed replacing, also puiit a cheap tile on top of what looked like the original tile down below.
I purchased two sheets of 4x8 fiberglass board for the walls, all the sealants plywood nails and what not for the walls, also a new shower pan liner to prevent another leaking issue, i think im going to keep the actual drain pan since i cant seem to find another one to replace it otherwise i would.
the ceiling is going to be removed as well since it is just a painted piece of wood, it will be replaced with a nicely finished tub (the drain pan from the top deck) plexiglass roof and lights between all this since the shower area is all dark
all in all the whole material including new floor tile ran me about $250
Im going to continue demolition tomorrow since it got dark fairly quick today and then hopefully start the actual floor reconstruction and the ceiling before the end of the day.
also ordered a new shower sump system to replace that loud and obnoxious pump that makes loads of noise that was originally there so if anyone wants it i can can ship it to anyone (just pay for shipping, it works perfectly fine)
