Hard top for an F32

Post by Cmount »

Anyone have any good suppliers for a hard top for my f32? I was considering a full enclosure and am now looking at a hard top with side curtains....Any insight or thoughts or vendors to consider would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I ordered a hardtop for the cockpit for my F32 from Atlantic Towers. It shipped today. Should be here in the next 2 weeks. I have a radar arch from them that I put on last year. They went to a local F32 and measured for the cockpit hardtop. I can not wait to get it. I live in Arizona and have had many bouts with skin cancer and need some sun cover in the cockpit. I had a quote for a canvas top and the hardtop was about $400.00 less without shipping. With shipping, I will be about $600.00 more, but will have a hardtop instead of canvas.

My boat is in a storage barn. I am not sure if I will get it into the water this summer or not. I will try to take some photos, but it is pretty dark in the barn...

so this had me thinking. i've always wanted to dispose of the soft top on the tri cabin, and, TAAA DAAAA, they have actually retro fitted tri cabins. on their website, click on photofinder and browse by manufacturer. they have also done several internationals.... hmmmmmmm i really like it. the one thing i would do is have the forward part extended about 18" to create and over hang. other than that, it's a nice design. it sure beats the canvas top. (note the other tri cabin to starboard with the soft top)

What did you end up spending? I'm coming out around 5k before delivery for the hard and then 3k for the side curtains...lot of money but I really want to do it. Trying to get my wallet open enough to do it.

Thanks to everyone for the input so far...the soft top is coming in at 3500 so the hard seems to make more sense....

The cockpit hardtop was $5100.00 plus shipping. The soft top was quoted at $5600.00. That made it a no brainier...
