New Trojan Burgee/Pennant

Post by georgepet »

Couldn't see how to make this a "poll" question.....

Since I missed out on the last pennant purchase, I decided to design one on my own, and I've uploaded five designs here.

Of course, some elements might be mixed/matched i.e. the star and the leaf, which I included as an idea generator as this is mostly a bi-national forum.

If there's enough uptake on one particular design, I'll get pricing and make it avail at cost to forum members.

cheers

G

For what it is worth I like the traditional Trojan Burgee .But I do like your ideas and I like the Maple leaf on it . Thats a neat Idea for the Canadian Trojan boaters . I don't however see the star as a symbol of the USA .( not offended )

Hey Prowler......thanks for the thumbs up.....and as for national symbols clearly no offence intended.

I used the star simply because the US Army used the star on vehicles from before WWII to sometime after Vietnam. The USAF uses it within the a/c insignia and at least up until 2000, theatre commanders (overseas) on their direction, could use the five point star as the national symbol for various AF property. Anyways, that's were I got it from.

Would an eagle be more appropriate in your opinion or a blue field with bars?

A or D, but they all look cool. I'm in for one if you decide to make them. I lost last year's burgee in a storm, and would love a new one.
