Engine timing and firing order. 1972 31ft.

Post by HAPPY CLAM »

:roll: Hi all! My first visit. Just purchased a 1972 31 foot flybridge express. It looks like a sedan cruiser similiar to the 34 Pacemaker of same vintage. I wonder if anyone would be willing to share the correct firing order and timing setting for the reverse(LH)302 Mercruiser 215 straight inboard and how to correctly identify these engines. This seems like sort of a rare boat, have never seen one like it. Anyone own one of this model that can share some info with me?

Thank's in advance for your time;

I have a 1971 F-31, but it has Chrysler 318s.
Thes were the originals for the boat and I undestand it was only made a few years. Shame since I love the boat.
