Great Weekend Trip!
Started our trip down river in a chop but beautiful day to meet up with Tony, (Alexander38) and his wife Michelle. We traveled with two other boats, Jeff and Anne and their Viking and Lance and Nancy on their Formula. Sorry about the pics, not sure why they are short width wise...
Heading down river.
My first mate enjoying the water.
Got the boat settled in.
Tony and Michelle's Boat.
Jeff and Anne's boat.
Lance and Nancy's boat.
I spied this F 32 sitting a few slips down from me. Needs some TLC but has potential. Note the teak cover boards and rail bases.
Tony and Michelle as we await our appetizers and dinner on the back deck of the restaurant.
Lance and Nancy.
Jeff and Anne.
We left yesterday to waves and rain but still got back to the barn in good time. Tony stayed an extra night and left this morning. Below is a couple of screen shots as I followed his progress down the bay, to home port. A great time was had by all! Thanks Tony!

Good shots thanks for sharing . How are you able to track Tony ? Did you put a bug in his boat ?

Paul, smart phone apps. Marine Traffic and Boat Beacon. Once you download app, fill in vessel info, anyone who has the app, can locate any other vessel, destination, speed, hailing port, etc. most vessels are databased such as cargo and container ships, luxury vessels, tugs and cruisers.

You can't track me . .
I like the app but I don't want anyone tracking me . I asumes it tracks boats with AIS and folks with the app also ?

Paul, you have to turn the app on, Jamie was stalking me! Lol. We also use it to let our kids know where we are. Plus the USCG. tracks this system and BOATUS too

Why only 10 rocket launchers on the flybridge?
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

Re: Great Weekend Trip!
i've always had an eye for boats and planes. wait till i share some pics of a WHEELER from the 1950's that's on the hard at edwards boat yard near me. i have some pics of the flying W on the bow and the arrow piercing the W logo on the port and starboard side. a lot of work, but i've always loved the vintage wheeler yachts. so what color line is your wife ordering? i intend to quiz her at the annapolis boat show.Stripermann2 wrote:Good eye Aaron on the Hatt. Re: Great Weekend Trip!
Aaron, not sure what color she has in mind. Also, the power boat show in Annapolis is a week earlier this year for those that don't know. They scheduled the power boat show ahead of the sailboat show this year... but I won't be attending. Fishing an annual tournament in Ocean City, then we're off to Key West.
