Hey folks, I'm back, sorry for the delay.

I have been on the boat every weekend and in the evenings during the week trying to get in the water, good thing my house is only 4 blocks away

Ok lets get going

all new fuel lines and new racors, I think I spent almost $1000 on the fuel lines and another few hundred and all the fittings

I finally took the shrink wrap off the boat and the next day I had new 40 gauge glass and new stamoid canvas installed on 3 sides
I put 3 zippered windows in the front and 1 big zippered window on each side so in the warmer months there will be plenty of cross ventilation
I am really happy with the canvas and how it looks

Memorial Day weekend the boat was splashed !

Still lots and lots of wiring to do, but I'm in the water !

Look what I found while running wires through the bilge

THIS IS SO DISGUSTING!!!

The is a vent that was installed between the macerator and the thru-hull fitting

Why?

SHakedown cruise revealed a big exhaust leak on one side of the starboard motor right at the head and manifold, so I figured I just had to replace the gasket.

Not quite that simple

Great photos, Doug. Thanks for the update.

The hull shape on a 13 meter (hanging in the slings) is a beautiful thing

One of the greatest, most patient and workmanlike restorations of all time, let alone the issue of the steep cost (even when doing most of the work yourself)

Having also had to weather a rip-off artist on the engines repairs a while back, would have seen most people just simply give up and pack the whole project in.

There may be some among us who would like to see this boat operate in person, I know I would.

Great restoration, Doug. Boat needs a champagne launch.
