Thanks Jav. Very appealing numbers. What diameter and pitch of props are you using?

I have no affiliation and no interest in it but- boatdiesel is a great site and resource for what your contemplating. If memory serves, and just for reference, I recall seeing a few ads that may be of interest in your research.

One was for freshly rebuilt tamd41's with warranty for around $10k

and... there was a pair of RTO TAMD41B with gears - (recent rebuilds will less than 1000 hours) - I think the ask was $12k for the pair and that was back in the december time frame.

I think both of those are a better indication of where the market is.

Good luck.

The 6BTA5.9 Cummins in my F32 are 220HP each and I get 27knots w/ 1:1 Velvet Drives and 17x20 props ...

Video @ 27knots: http://RNR-Marine.com/Trojan/Viva-Mahia ... 0mar08.MP4

Engine covers barely fit, but they're great engines!

Great numbers Rossjo. For some reason, my computer will not play the video. Says I don't have enough memory, when I know I do have enough.

Right click the link and "Save Link As" to your PC, then play it ...

I tried that, ans several other things. Error message is "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
