This is my second year of owning my Trojan 10M and the costs really do add up! I am right on the NH/ME border and pay $65 a foot for my 40ft slip. That price is for retired military and the $2600 includes shared water and electricity. I think it was $300 to store it for the winter. Its a 10 minute walk from my office at work too.

$65 a foot for a 40ft slip = $2.6k/mo = *12= $31.2k /year. Are you sure they're not charging extra for "retired military" ?

If you only use the boat 1-4 months per year, ouch .... That's about $1-5k per routing ... plus gas ... and breakage ...

The $65 per foot is probably for the season.

My sense is that the $2,600 for the summer season (till the cold weather dictates the boating season is over) is pretty middle of the road. The $300 for the winter is a good deal for sure.
