Last year I got 4/5 of the way through my refit. This year I plan to complete a lot of the cosmetic work I couldn't get to. I am going to paint the decks, refinish the teak railings, strip and refinish the mahogany in the forward head, finish the teak work on the bridge, install LED strip lighting on dimmers above the cabinets in the salon on the sides, install an inverter for the fridge, refinish the bar on the aft deck and I would like to put a really nice stereo in the boat however I don't know if I'm going to get there this year. In addition my brother is making me a mahogany cabinet with glass doors and shelving that will go where the old TV used to fit in the salon. I will also like this up with LED lights on a dimmer.

Spent most of my money last year updating and repairing too many things to list. This year, repair black water holding tank top, it is sagging and leaks. replace holding tank level indicator. New anchor rode and install a spot light. Hopfully that will be it for this year.

Put together a tender for the summer, keeping our two Boston's over the weekend was creating some problems. Came across this particular model at the Chicago boat show. after months of research, I settled on this one. It is a Silver marine 240 Nemo AD, and a Honda 2hp long shaft out board, not a lot of posts on here about tenders, maybe a new thread, discussion on what others are using?

There are quite a few harbor rats in my marina that have these... They just cruise around the marina on the weekends... Usually with a chardonay in the other hand :D They actually have a poker run every year... They go from boat to boat.

Here are some pictures of the Shaw Vinyl flooring. One picture has the refrig removed for install and a couple of pieces of masking tape marking hatch location.
The flooring on the hatches is held down with carpet tape and the edges are held down with carpet tape. the rest of the floor is floating.

I like the way you have it set up in your living room. I'd be sitting in it and having a beer while watching hockey games all winter. :D

Hey, I wonder what my wife would think about this idea???

Flyboy,
Your floor looks great. is your vinyl flooring sheet vinyl or vinyl strips/ planks . I have a few boxes of Teak vinyl flooring (like pergo but heavy vinyl instead of laminate). it has adhesive strips that glue it together. thought of trying it out but was concerned about it being loose laid.

Finally, I think this year is a light work year in the spring.
1) prep and paint forward deck (wish I would have used a 2 part paint years ago... but I guess touch-up is easy.
2) strip failed epoxy coating on toe rail.
3) Pull water tanks I put in late last summer and prime and paint the frames the new tanks sit on in the aft bilge.

If I get super energetic, I'll pull the 3 blade props, and take them to a shop with spare set of 4 blade props and have them tuned. I've had the 4 blade props for 6+ years, it might be time to try them....

Todd,
Mine is vinyl plank strips. I almost used the flooring that has the glue strips, but opted for the Shaw, it snaps together. The floor is floating except I used carpet tape at the edges and on the hatches. I also ran a bead of caulk around the edges so sand would not make its way under the flooring.
