Can anyone tell me what you call the hinge and latch you can install on your wood stern rail (it opens so you can in easily from the swim platform)? I have searched and searched even went into our local West Marine with no luck.

i know when i purchased mine from bob there were a couple different styles. he had none listed on the website then. the one i purchased performed the same function but screwed in on the bottom of the rail and did not slide over as that one in the link above appears. he had salvaged some boats and this design fit my wood rail profile perfectly. i might give him a call just to get it first hand for the boat you have and either one may work (if available). it it sure is nice not climbing over the rail form the swim platform

That fitting was too pricey for me so I removed my railings and sold them to another Trojan owner. :)

No one overboard... did it so I could have the extra seating while at anchor. Georgian Bay boating so tend to be in calm anchorages.

P.S. Glen Masters on the Facebook Trojan Boat Owners Club is selling some for $100.

I love the look, very clean, we can get some pretty good waves in Door County so thinking we should keep ours, thanks for the tip!
