Safety Reminder (Fuel Lines)

Post by MattSC »

While performing maintenance, I came across this fuel line, which was located at the bottom of the fuel control cell on my 5.7MPI Crusader. It's in a location that is not easily accessible. (The hose clamps were removed when I took the bottom photo) I had absolutely no odor of fuel in the boat Just a reminder to check your fuel lines, Ethanol isn't your friend

You can try some fuel injection clamps for the fuel lines...they are smooth and don't bite into the hose.....I know that is not the cause of that but noticed the clamp bite in your pic....can get them from auto supply places....Mike
