There are "hot spots" on the International that can be insulated with spray foam insulation, Styrofoam insulation or sun shades against the heat.

Galley cabinet,

head area around medicine chest

forward berth

port light shades

hatch shades

Lexan sliding door insulation & canvas

fwd berth storage areas

these simple tricks allow the 16,000 bTU system to easily keep up in south florida

likely similar actions in the F series would yield similar results
