Not often that you get something that big done for just one boat dollar.

Keep at it!
I laughed my head off! 1 boat dollar? I'm obviously out of my league

Thanks for the laugh P-Dogg

A boat dollar is a real unit of measure, most often used in conversations with the Mrs.

See:http://www.blogatrip.com/2013/07/boat-dollars.html?m=1
I needed a less expensive hobby, so I bought a boat!

I'm baack! Ha Ha!

I got a little bummed out when photo bucket stopped hosting pictures and couldn't go on :(
But I've got over it.

My wife and I have actually been living on the boat full time since we sold our house in July.
In her words "it's like being on vacation all the time"

I have a bunch to share, but I do have to get my pictures to another host or resize them to post here.
This is me towing it from the crane to our spot on the wall and one I have of our current set up

We sure have!
I've done a few circles with it in the river, just to understand how it handles. We haven't been out in the lake yet, I don't have all the gear installed yet so we stay VERY close to home

Thanks Misty, I hope you got to spend some time on the water this summer.
My wife and I put over 60 hours on our little jet boat, we went out just about every day with it :)
Only about 1 hour running the Trojan though :(

It was for sure a challenge. I used vinyl instead of fabric for durability and ability to clean.
It required a lot more tension and stretching, there are over 3000 staples in the ceiling.

I will post some pictures when I get back to my work computer Monday, of the process.

here' a couple pictures of our first winter, last winter and this summer at the dock :)
