Prop Maintenance

Any issues with using a drill and wire brush to remove caked on crude from Prop and rudders. Still ice under the boat but to cold for chemical use.

I have used a flat orbital sander with fine grit paper and then actually buffed them with compound...they came out great.

I have used the wire brush, but that just took a tone of time. I use the flat sander on my rudders, shafts and props with no issue. Just have to go very light...the sand paper does a great job on the growth in my opinion.

Thanks! Love yours too!

We have a couple of older ones at the club and one of the owners is a good friend and loves it!
