Congrats on the purchase Strypes! You are the third person I have heard say they are heading to SC to live in the last few months. I didn't know that was the new happening place.

Welcome to the forum and congrads on your new boat! I also purchased a1989 12 meter motor yacht last year and love it. We currently boat in eastern lake erie and Niagara river but plan to take it to Florida and live on it part of the year. I'm not sure I can answer any questions but will give it a try.

We have a 1988 12m Sport Fisherman, so I am thinking many things will apply to yours.

I never had to do anything to prime the vacu flush. Not sure what he is referring to. I believe the only thing under the floor in the area you're talking about is the pump for the fwd air conditioning, but again I never had to prime it.

For the entertainment center there is a button to the right side of the cabinet. One of the things I did was to remove the old TV, speaker and radio/audio, cut some of the trim and put in a much larger LCD TV. Makes a big difference.

Lonely equates to working the bugs out before the summer residents move in. Allows you to be a pro while watching everyone else remember how their boat systems operate.

I remember feeling so embarrassed when I had figure out how something worked when everyone was watching. Oh well... the joys of boating.
