Here we go again; we can't put up a Christmas tree in the school because that would offend some people

The town I lived in was 50% Jewish Never ever was Christmas tree or Christmas anything a issue in the town . Until a atheist move to town . The clown made a big deal of of it . How it offend people . Several Rabbi 's put him in his place . They where not in the least offended by Christmas . But very offended by this atheist . and Yes the town still puts up its Christmas tree and Nativity scene .

The problem is the guys in charge now have no balls anymore. When my son and his friends found out about no tree, they didn't know/care from politics or religion....now they're offened! What has it solved? Who sticks up for them? Today a tree, tomorrow....? But tomorrow is actually closer than we think; a complaint was lodged because a neighbour liked flying the Canadian flag on his front lawn, and this offended someone a few houses down so they lodged a formal complain with the town. Now, the offended party is certainly within thier right to complain but the frustrating part is that the politicians actually spent a considerable amount of time turning this into a debatable issue. What's there to talk about? Can you imagine for example a township preventing you from flying the American flag because it may offend some residents? I don't like where we're heading.

Wow ! Thats sad , If the Canadian flag offends then the should find some where else to move to . Like Iran ? They could move next door to me and look at Old Glory flying every day .

I have seen the same thing around hear with home owners associations , I would be in jail if I lived in one .

Its sad when the Masses have to cave in to the few .
