I'm sure if given the opportunity, both the left AND the right would take certain rights, privileges AND things away from us. They often do. Eminent domain comes immediately to mind.

Keep in mind, though, that not everyone on the left is a gun grabber. This is one reason I no longer subscribe to or read the outdoor magazines. I"m a libertarian (if one must slap a label on me) but all the outdoor mags have shifted towards almost exclusively supporting right wing policies. They were never talking to me; they started sounding like they were talking to Rush Limbaugh's audience. When it comes to resource protection (primarily as it pertains to preserving the water resources that we all enjoy on our fine vessels) and environmentally damaging policies pushed by the right, any criticism offered is tepid at best, if offered at all. Usually it's not.

And, I get tired of hearing about "Obama The Socialist" and "Hillary The Nazi". It's idiotic.

I got my Hogue stocks in the mail yesterday. Now all I need is that Beretta Inox to put them on.................

I to lean more Libertarian, I'm more if a Barry Goldwater right winger...The less Govt' we can do with the better, The power of Govt' belongs to the States not the state.

And, I get tired of hearing about "Obama The Socialist" as far as that goes sorry to say HE IS, but he's in office and we who feel he is just have to deal with it and fight back as much as we can.

Obama The Socialist" and "Hillary The Nazi". I would never call them Nazis . But I do believe they do lean to Socialism . and Like Hillary or not She is a lot better than her replacement .

Most people that call people Nazis Don't have a clue what one is .

I am pretty Right Wing But I do believe Rush is a fruit cake . Send him and Kerry to the loony bin .

Now you both can agree and disagree with me . so evey one can be happy ( or mad LOL )

No question on the lines. It's why I always, my entire adult life, pined for an F-32 or F-36 (would have settled for the former, preferred the latter.....).

I generally avoid quoting Jefferson because, while not the only founding father to own slaves (how do you think George Washington ran Mt. Vernon?), he has the greatest reputation of not just owning human beings as property, but for boinking them too.

They were men of their times, Jefferson knew that it was wrong, But he also knew they had a Wolf by the ears, how do you let it go ? I'll never Hold their down falls against them, after all they did Found the Greatest Republic man has ever known and now we watch it die !
