I figured the other thread was too long so we'll start here as time is quickly approaching.
Looks as though the admiral and I will take a few days off and mosey down river, maybe hook it one night then meet up with whoever is going to Kinsale. Looking forward to seeing any and all who'd like to relax for a day or two, or three...
It's an easy trip from just about anywhere on the bay. I know Paul and Tony will be looking forward to seeing as many friends as we can get together. I also think we may see Wes? How about Ron (RBcool), surely he's gonna come, he's just across the bay a bit. Just go up the river and hang a left at number 9 marker!
We'll have a few folks, not sure how many, join us from my marina as well.
Hello everyone,
We are scheduled to arrive at Port Kinsale on Sunday after a run from the Trojan rendezvous. I'm not sure what time we'll be arriving yet. That depends on weather and what time I get up Sunday morning.
Wes
Wes , You will get a wake up call at 5 am . The rendezvous Wes is talking about is in Rock hall MD . Same dates as our Kinsale get together . Its in the northern part of the bay so thats why the Kinsale get together and the Solomons mid bay.
I bet no one will come as far as myself or Tony to kinsale ( or the Solomons , Any takers ? ( sorry Wes I have to exclude you )

The Solomons are Just above the Potomac river on Chesapeake bay ,about a 85 nautical miles (97.75 miles) for me about the same for Tony , and I would guess just under 500 for Wes
Kinsale is about 70+- N. miles for Me and another 30 miles for Wes .

I guess nobody travels on their Trojans like we do. We're looking at around 1000 nautical miles on our round trip this summer, Clinton, CT to Washington DC and back.
